Yes, he cares about getting a return but the desired return may be in the form of trophies won and Kane, as a proven goal machine in the PL, would almost guarantee that.
It’s this type of talk that leads to the comments we get about city - £150 million is a lot of money for MCFC, and indeed for CFG.
Both are self sustaining businesses so it’s got to be assessed from that basis - our owner is not going to be just bunging 150 million in to cover the bills.

Ive seen enough to suggest 'trash' is unfair but 'mediocre' more appropriate.He is nowhere near good enough for us,which is the only factor.Neither are coming. Luiz has been trash the last few months according to a good Villa fan I know.

Multi billionaires want return, IF we sign Keane he has to produce with that investment and I am sure he would, the only issue I have is his injuries, that is a major worry on this deal,
Haaland looks outstanding but is untried in this league, and we have seen with Werner at Chelsea, a top young player in the German league can look very ordinary in the Prem.
I had concerns about his repeated ankle injuries, after seeing other peoples concern, but when I checked the stats he’s only missed 20 games in 5 seasons due to ankle injury and, of those, he’s only missed 4 games in the last 3 seasons due to ankle injury.
So if dodgy ankles is an issue then it’s one that’s receding.
He also gets overplayed at Spurs, because he’s so central to them performing, but he’d get strategic rest at a big club and that would lessen his injuries and extend his career.
I’m not a big fan of Kane, I think he’s a bit of a dick but I can’t knock his Premier League stats so I also think that he’d improve any club he went to.

I didn’t say he would do, Blue Oil. Not sure where you read that but there was nothing in my post about anyone bunging anything in anywhere except for in your noodle.
I was actually replying to a poster who said we won’t get him due to lack of a ‘return’ and I was making the point that the return could be trophies.
