That's not too meaningful in a game where we played without a man for the majority. We were pressed high and thus needed long balls out from our CBs for a lot of time. And it's not like we had some great outlets up front for it. Also, we know he has room for improvement when it comes to long balls anyway.

Absolutely wonderful season from John. I had him as done and dusted here 12 months ago. It’s easy to point to Dias and say he’s helped Stones turn it around, but Stones has to take a huge amount of credit for what he has achieved this season.

He was indeed,a great game,he looks every inch the top class centre half he always promised to be.The partnership is the best in the world for me,they bring the best out in each other and have developed an amazing understanding.

He was very poor tonight. Our whole defence just didn’t look right.

Very rarely I've seen a worse performance without a huge blunder. Every single decision by him was not the correct one, and his constant mistakes in passes, positioning and pressure made our defense weaker for the entire match.

Good season nevertheless.
