Different player recently. Just needs to sort out the times he's static with cross balls coming in over his head for a free header to a forward coming behind him unmarked.

At least Stones has been able to have a run of games. And he is thriving. Wonderful to see him playing with so much confidence. Fully deserved this.

His aggression in winning duels both on the floor and in the air is seriously impressive. he just looks switched on constantly, the defensive equivalent of KDB when he's at his high pressing devastating best in attack. I think he's number 1 right now when not rotated. if laporte or ake are to get in regularly it's Dias they should be looking to oust.

His physicality has been one of his weaknesses in the past eg when Firminho brushing him aside when he scored against us at Anfield a few seasons ago. Dias is our #1 CB; Stones is a great partner at the moment.

No idea where this run of form has come from , i wanted him gone in the summer so what the f*ck do i know ? Totally different player from the last 18 months , he was always injured and lacked any confidence now he is the best English defender in the Premier league , just hope he avoids any niggling injuries.

Think we could afford to lose Stones, but without Dias's leadership we'd be in a real mess defensively. He's the Kompany of the pair.
