Not if the end result is the same does the running around really matter?. if he was a midfielder i would be fine with that but he needs to do more.

it depends on what you understand by "fuck all" but the premise of jesus running a lot was set well before the match was played. pep just didnt trust him all that much this season

14 goals and a smattering of assists.
No one knows where their best positions are, but it’s not in the starting 11.

The only difference is, Sterling looks like a newborn fawn with a football and the other charges it around like a headless chicken.

Not if the end result is the same does the running around matter. if he was a midfielder i would be fine with that but i he needs to do more.

We needed our players to run around and show some fight. To many were guilty of giving up in the last 15 minutes.

I agree, but I much prefer watching Jesus run around, than Sterling look uninterested.

We were chasing a lost cause by the time the subs came on. We wouldn’t have scored had we been played for another hour. The game was lost in the first half.

did he? we didnt have a single shot on target? The 20 mins he was on was just as bad as the rest of the match. Running around isn't changing the game.

He’s been the best non-automatic starter in the last month, he worked his bollocks off in some recent games (Newcastle away, for example, he had twice as many touches as Torres and contributed more to the game than pretty much anyone else from general play).

To see Sterling start ahead of him, when he’s been utterly average to rubbish for ages, must have been a proper kick in the balls for Gabi!

He looked our only decent player tonight.

Sterling has out scored him this season despite him being out of form. Even torres has out scored him and hes barely played at the end of the day if he is gonna continue as a striker working hard isnt enough.

I think he should vacates that number 9 on his back. He is not a number 9 and never will. It also creates a lot of pressure on him in which he can't fulfill. I don't see him being our striker for much longer. He is going to get converted to being a midfielder or a winger.

Funnily enough we’ve looked great when those two have switched.
