For what it’s worth, Sane’s girlfriend is really missing their days at City. Says she doesn’t support Bayern and would like to be back at City. Sane hasn’t quite kicked on since joining Bayern, and they also play him on the right instead of the left side. Unlikely, but I would love to see him back. Pep could get the best out of him, and he’s a big game player

Would take him on loan with bayern paying his wages

But we also spend £40m on players like Aké.
Ake has been unlucky with injuries....he will prove his worth over time

the only real waste of any money was Mendy...most of the other players have proved at least some worth (and a lot of them have been excellent signings)

with a 1.7m makeshift left back "marking" him .
I think he surpassed the term "makeshift" dozens and dozens of appearances ago. He's always played left back for us, he's our left back and a makeshift midfielder. him playing elsewhere for a previous team or international side doesn't make him makeshift.

he has been brilliant . my point was we still need to spend .

I don’t think Pep can get the best out of him, his mentality isn’t right. Great potential, but after watching him for Bayern this season he looks a shadow of the player he was 2-3 years ago

Probably true RE Pep. I think Leroy was a bit immature when he was here. He seemed to see Pep correcting him as criticism rather than trying to improve him for his own benefit.

Maybe fatherhood and realising the grass isn't greener has changed his attitude and he would come back open to Pep's coaching and make the progress he should.

It will never happen for many different reasons though.

At one point Sane looked like a future Balon D’Or winner.

Ah right. I've forgot about and moved on, can't wait to see the premier league trophy and league cup paraded through town.
I'm not one for dwelling on things, got beat, seasons done, only got eyes for the next season.

Definitely the right way to live your life. You'll be much happier than the rest of us wallowing in defeat.

I will be fine by Tuesday, I'm already thinking about the positives really and looking forward to next season.
