Take Pep. You wouldn‘t hang your hat on anything he chooses to say to the cameras. Why should Haaland be any different? He may be young but he’s already well-versed in the fundaments of PR.
 
With Ancelotti being announced as their new coach, I would be shocked with Erling ended up at Real Madrid either this or next year. That’s not the kind of manager you bring to start a new era and planning for the future

The manager does not pick the players Madrid want, that falls to Florentino Pérez, always has done.

Yes Perez would bring in whatever players he wanted, but I’m not seeing this scenario in which you bring in Ancelotti and follow that with one of the decade’s two young superstars

Zidanes's statement points very much to Real not backing him, that squad needs rebuilding and quickly.

Yeah it seems like they brought Zidane back thinking it'd be a quick fix, ignoring the fact that his great team that won 3 Champions Leagues in a row is finished and needs a massive rebuild. And you'd think he would have done enough to earn some time and investment to do that, but then this is Real Madrid.

Perez ego is huge, can't have a manager/coach taking the spot light.
 
we must hurry this up if we are wanting haaland ? for me its the first choice and the more promise long term
top class striker very rarely come on the market and kane and haaland must be signed by city and sod the money and the media moaners

He could be off this summer for the right price.
Think the Kane price will be £130m+
I think at that price Dortmund would sell, assuming the player want the club in question.
Just my opinion/hope

Dortmund will not be that daft or can not afford to lose him for nothing ? city must be all over him and get the deal done right now ? forget kane spurs will try their best to keep him and it could be late and well into the summer before any movement for him

we was short in strikers before aguero left ? now he's gone we are 2 strikers short and delap is not ready
if we have to go without a left back and sign haaland and kane then i would be happy

I don’t think we will pay anywhere near £100 million for any player. Those pre-covid money spend times are gone.
