I am curious about what people cannot do.
I have heard some laughable ones like three or more families cannot sit inside a restaurant together. Hardly a biggie.
People have also said they don't like booking tables at a boozer. Again, no biggie.
I can understand where business owners stand but not those not financially affected by the pandemic who are incandescent with rage that the date for the removal of restrictions could be moved back two or three weeks.
Live music, gigs, festivals, football, nightclubs, parties which involve dancing (weddings/18th/21st), singing in a choir, singing in church. Now a lot of those may not seem important. But for my neighbour, who joined a choir after losing her husband, its something she is desperate to get back. I take my father to church. Its a soulless experience. Go in, wear mask, say a few prayers, leave the building. And families of more than 6 wanting to sit together is important if you want to celebrate. My daughters 18th meal, booked for 20 of us, March 2020, will obviously never happen. 2 of the grandparents have died in the meantime. And my daughter is now 19. But its a perfectly reasonable thing to want more than 6 people round a table.

Because these things are 'no biggie' to you mate does not for one second mean that they are no biggie to everyone. You need to widen your scope of view and understand not everyone has an identical life to you.

My wedding was booked for 31/07/2020 but had to be postponed until March. The date in March was postponed until the middle of July 21 and finally, we feel like we're going to have our wedding day.
If the restrictions aren't lifted this month, it will mean a limit on our guests and everyone wearing masks/PPE which will ruin the day completely. We'd have around 4 weeks to sort everything out which doesn't give us enough time.
Really stressful - especially when you consider that the only people who're dying now are selfish cunts who refuse the vaccine!

If I remember rightly, there was very little change in restrictions at Easter. Then we were told June 21st. I don’t mind a few weeks. My fear is the 2 month delay suggested by Prof Pagel. That would be another summer lost for most businesses and events that operate outdoors.

Feel really sorry for you and hope it goes ahead, its been easy to dismiss the conspiracy theorists before all this, ive supported every lockdown, but now with the vaccine I really cant believe June 21 probably isnt going ahead.
