What is "net" admissions please ?

As I said above I am questioning that data on other things so not sure.

The full data I posted above is direct from the NHS and is not from a media story as the one earlier was.

They got the patient number right but the 49 net admissions might mean 115 admissions minus 66 being sent home. But then patient numbers would have fallen by 49 today not 22 as they actually did.

As I said above the admissions number the NHS give is always 2 days behind the patients and ventilators which are from today. The 115 they report today was from Tuesday. The 779 patients is as of today.

But two days ago patients went UP by 3. So not that either.

They are waiting on the Bolton figures this week to look at the numbers during this new “peak”.

In their area, they peaked at 5 Covid patients in May.

I think the June date is realistic for further easing of restrictions.

Just because it's really bad news and perhaps difficult to understand, it doesn't mean it's bollox or not worthy of belief. It's science I'm afraid, it will deliver facts and those facts will either be pleasant or hurtful, and today's findings fall well into the latter.

Yeah, my 24/7 role as a career for my 94 year old grandma hasn’t been affected much by Covid. Not going anywhere aside.

We’ve all had both vaccines in our household now, so we are going to see things like our local waterfall now.

Stay strong blue. Sorry to hear your predicament. My business has been sporadic at best and shut down for long periods. Not qualified for any assistance. My life savings and sporadic business means I have about 3 months wiggle room before closure. My books are full going forward but anymore national or regional lockdowns and I am toast. Never had to sign on before. I fear the 'recovery' will come to late.

These reports today explain a lot and seem increasingly disturbing.

Their reaction today in basically stopping travel not opening it up as they were clearly planning and the 'technical delays' in reporting say it all.

Heads ought to roll as this was if not preventable definitely could have been minimised.

There is no end in sight for international leisure travel.

I can tell you now, every single fucking job in travel is on a knife-edge.....and that is hundreds of thousands of people either directly or indirectly employed by the industry.
