PFA Awards | De Bruyne and Foden win POTY and YPOTY

Shows what a farce these awards can be.

David Silva, nor Segrio Aguero ever got near, yet KdB in what has been an average season by his standards wins it.
Player's from our rivals have often won individual awards at the expense of our players, based alone on notoriety. It's about time the table's turned and it actually signifies further the shift in power imo

If this was KDBs first season with us more blues would understand. He’s gone from a 10 to an 8 but he’s still our best player this season.

Dias has been an an unexpected revelation but KDB has still been better and has the better Stats. Think of all the players who want to play for us because of him.

Our fanbase spent years talking about how our player's unfairly missing out, now we are speaking about if the right city player won it.

The game has changed, players from other teams love our players now, obvious to see with the way top players like grealish and kane talk about KDB. Even the 11 is stacked full of city players.

Ultimately like others have mentioned, I imagine when the voting came around, a lot of players just voted for who they thought was the best player in the league and lets be honest, KDB is alone in this aspect.

This exactly.

Young player of the year I would have gone 1 Mount 2 Foden though I think Foden’s ceiling is higher by quite a bit.

The KDB brand is huge, face of the league stuff. That’s why he gets votes. Gotta sting for Kane, hopefully it’ll help push him towards us

He's become the 6th player to win it twice (after Bale, Henry, Shearer, Ronadlo & Hughes), and I'd imagine with a bit of a rest and a clinical striker to finish off chances he creates he has a good chance of becoming the only 3 time winner in the next season or 2.
