LOL not sure, Jan looks like he smokes a lot of hash, but he is a genuine friend of the Haaland family, so I listen when he speaks about this deal.

I do think this is our no1 choice but if Chelsea are willing to get involved in an auction we will switch to Kane.

I have a hard time believing we would get involved not knowing how it could be. This is the one to go all the way

Did you know Nmecha and Grealish have the same agent? Definitely had me raising an eyebrow.

I see Jan Aage as the Haaland's unofficial PR guy in Europe. Very interesting comments from him about Chelsea/City. Sounds like he knows someone high up at Chelsea who has more or less confirmed to him that they're going to try for him this summer. Easy to add City's name on there as we need a 9. But in terms of a deal, we would only try if we failed to land Kane for whatever reason.

Also, I just don't think Dortmund are going to come to the party. 200 million euros prices him out of a move full stop.

Nmecha has <12 months on his contract so he's not worth much. There was talk of £8m being asked from Anderlecht which they couldn't afford.

Nmecha might just be a late developer, he could barely score at all at on loan to Preston and Boro in the championship but enjoyed a great season with Anderlecht and Germany u21s and has probably quadrupled his value, we should be looking at 18-20m for him now.

The contract is definitely an issue. They won’t want to lose him for nothing. Wonder if they can convince him to sign again and take another loan. Think that’s unlikely tbh.

It will never be anywhere near 200m this year or next.

100% he will leave this summer, us or Chelsea unless Barca start robbing merchants banks.

The thing is, if Chelsea are going to try, then he is willing to move and Dortmund are willing to listen. In which case, we can also try. The numbers may come to work or may not, for either and any club, but puts to bed this assunption that he isnt moving or is unattainable by default just because harry kane said some stuff in an unrelated interview (which Ironically Haaland said as well in his own interview).

I still am not convinced that it is all in for Kane and nothing else based on what is out in public, I honestly firmly believe both wil be looked at by the club. How strongly, will depend on the stage of the window/negotiations. That's how I see it.

He said a few times that he feels at 22 after 4 loans he needs to land somewhere and stay there now.

Can't see him being interested in another loan, which is a shame because he only really hit his stride and started playing really well in 2021.

Dortmund are what people think Levy is. People laughed at them last summer and said there's no way they'd keep Sancho, but they did because United didn't meet the asking price. If Dortmund have put 200 million on his head this summer, then they'll get it or they' won't sell IMO. That's a big IF as that price has only been reported in Spain.

I wouldn't want to personally put a % on whether he goes or not because there are just too many variables involved.
