Underdone ? I think he looks like a player with a hell of a lot of miles on the clock and very little tread left on his tires. He looks fucked to me. I agree he's a massive risk for any potential buyer.

But we already have 4 points and are pretty certain to be one of the best third place teams at worst.

Well said mate. I've got zero ill grudges with the England team and always wish Foden, Stones, Sterling, Walker to do well but fuck some blues seem to have completely forgotten our roots.

We were supposed to be out tonight, embarrassed, humiliated. That we more than held our own and now have a fighting chance come Tuesday night I'll absolutely take.

Pre tournament I had us or the Czechs as the weak links in the group. I thought we deserved to beat the Czechs and by all accounts they were better than Croatia today so you never know.

Totally agree. That was an England performance of 20 years ago. Lots of long punts from Pickford with no creativity in midfield. Pitiful from Southgate. Dinosaur football. May as well get Fat Sam or Pulis in. It was like a Burnley performance. Southgate is a total moron.

Great post. Phil has done great given the roles he was given. Gareth has his favourites, and looking at the midfield 3 and the front 3, there was no-one else he could take off until he finally took Harry off ... had Phil been twins, he'd have taken him off twice in one match!

Not for the first time I’m hoping for England to fail in order to hasten the exit of a useless national team manager.

As a group we have one of the best groups of young attacking players in decades so what does Southgate do? Sets up way too conservative, no creative midfield players. why…

Its fucking Sotland… and he sets up like we’re playing peak Brazil…

and the Scots on here… that pt won’t qualify you... so why celebrate like you’ve won something? Embarrassing all round…

Scotland were the better team. As Souness said it was a controlled performance, nothing to do with passion. If you had any sort of striker you could have won 3-0. It was a tactical victory for Steve Clarke...though Southgate made it easier for him.
