How are Dortmund so good at securing young talent compared to the rest of the world?

What's the reasoning for their success? why can't more teams copy them?

Recently they've had

Bellingham
Moukoko
Reyna
Haaland
Sancho
Pulisic
Dembele

That is footmall manager worthy

They are in effect a nursery club, they don't buy their players as finished articles and snap players up offering them first team places, otherwise those players wont get first team regular football while they are developing.

Because they have surrendered any ambition to genuinely challenge Bayern and have instead accepted their place in the food chain as a stepping stone/selling club. Albeit one willing to pay huge agents fees to secure emerging talents, along with an agreement to play them regularly and give them exposure before flipping them for a mutually beneficial profit.

Must be great for fans knowing that half your team (and their agents) are already looking to move on to the highest bidder one / two years down the line the moment they arrive
I blame that gezzer Gundogan for showing em that moving on you can win things:)

Easy answer they say to them they’ll play them and when an offer comes in from a top club we will sell you it’s a great stepping stone for young players who really believe in themselves..

Ah, the great German model we were all supposed to embrace in the aftermath of the Euro Soup League.
