Seems like GBnews ratings have slipped after a promising start. How do you account for it?
 
Admittedly I was a bit concerned about this channel.

but having seen how it’s unfolded there’s no need to worry - they simply can’t having a rolling 24/7 station against Harry/Meghan, BLM, Wokes and other nonsense they are desperate for people to angry to get about.

the format just doesn’t work or wash and if I had to make a spoof of a bad right wing news channel - it would be this.

Last thing I read was that they're still above SKY news.although things may have changed again, it's only just started, so we'll see in a few months I would have thought.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment behind this, and it might have some credence if everyone did think like that, they don’t. Very few people will watch GB News and think “that’s an interesting thesis on free speech by Andrew Doyle, I’m now going to seek out the alternative viewpoint”. The only way people will ever hear the alternative is if that particular news channel presents it as well in as fair and as balanced a way as possible.

The consequence is wanting it to succeed in its current guise is to all intensive purposes tolerating echo chambers.

When you've got all the tv channels, posters and whatever else you want banned, banned, do you think the world be a little boring? The calls for banning things generally emanate from either totalitarianism or fear, which is pretty much how things like Fox, GB News, and the Daily Mail operate. As @BlueHammer85 says, they don't have enough to fill a rolling 24/7 news cycle and I suspect they will be depending on sensationalism / free advertising from an outraged left to fill the void.

Not sure what you’re on about. I was talking about an individual who freely admits to breaking the CoC on here by coming on this forum to troll. If you were to read my following post I said I hoped GB News stays on the air for a long time.

If you want to go down that pathetic route then you are probably in breach of the CoC yourself by calling him a cockwomble, the difference being that you are the one as per usual calling for things you don't like to be banned. I suggest you calm your own little tits and remember your opinion only matters as much as anyone else's, and is worth no more (or less) than a post in the muffin/barm thread. Go ahead and get the muffin cunts banned if you want to do something useful.

I am not saying they need to learn a lot more about set presentation and lighting but I tuned in earlier and didn't realise for half an hour I didn't have the TV set turned on.....
