12 goals in 20 u21 appearances is good going. If we signed Kane, Haaland or some other first choice striker could we use this guys as his backup? - seems sad to let him go just when he is starting to fulfill him promise.

His second European Championships.
u19s Euros with England
u21 Euros with Germany

Really happy to see he has turned his career around after those disappointing loan spells as Boro and Wolfsburg.
Doubt he will get a chance here but hopefully he can fetch us a pretty penny and go on to have an impressive career.

I've seen it reported that City will accept £15m for him. Seems a bit low to me on the back of the season he's had. Considering Arsenal are wanting £20m for Nketiah and Liverpool got £23m for Brewster.

All speculation granted.

He'll be around pre season whilst the rest of the team will be on holiday, hopefully Pep has a good look at him and also the youngsters

Is this lad not good enough to be worth a few games in the 1st team next season?
Nmecha is a striker Made for The City system, with his football skills. But still a huge difference Against City and Anderlecht and The German u21 team.

Positioning in front of The goal and healing are still a working points for Nmecha.

Interesting question. I have watched him a fair bit over the years and would have always said that he is not going to make it. His loan spells have been very good for him and put him in the shop window, if not on the pitch with us.

Sporting, Porto, Leipzig, Frankfurt and Stuttgart all linked. No doubt the low asking price despite his recent Anderlecht and Germany U21 performances makes him a gamble worth taking.
It's a real 'come and get him' valuation. He doesn't seem to have any future at City, so the low price will open plenty of doors for him.
City will obviously include a decent sell-on percentage clause, so it's good for all parties.

One or two of them clubs are very useful in nurturing youth talent, could help club relations/future transfers enormously.
