So I am planning to buy a watch within a 10k budget. Looked at Patek Philippe and they are expensive as fuck.

Any suggestions?

A top of the range Tag Heuer will tell you time for £22,000 little out of your price range..
Rolex do a 'Submariner' model which tells you time for £7500..
Omega do a 'seamaster' it has a bevel and tells you the time for £2500

I quite like some of the Rolex models which fall within that price range. I also like Baume-Mercier which usually come in under £10,000.

I have both brands and very happy with them. There again I like very simple, plain looking watches. Handily that also keeps the cost down.

Diver and chronograph.
Diver
- JLC (Polaris)
- Rolex (Submariner)
- Tudor (Pelagos/Black Bay)
- Omega (Planet Ocean/Seamaster)
- Breitling (Superocean Heritage)
- Muhle Glashutte (Sea Timer)
- Sinn (U1)

Chrono
- AP (Royal Oak)
- PP (Nautilus)

- Rolex (Daytona)
- Zenith (Chronomaster)
- IWC (Portuguese/Pilot)
- Omega (Speedy)
- TAG (Carrera/Monaco)

A few for you to google (I'm sure I've missed something obvious out), good luck in your choice.

Not sure that quite a few of those will fit his budget though.

I actually long for his made up requests for advice on how to interpret blatantly obvious signals from the opposite sex
cant believe people are going out of their way to give him advice,if you had ten grand to spend on a watch would you really ask on a football forum ? also there is a watch topic on here, shouts as look at me thread. a lot of people are on their arses after the last year or two and havent got 10 quid for food, but this dickhead pretends to flaunt 10k for a watch.
