He was bang average from the 2nd half of scotland match til the last ten minutes of the 2nd half tonight. Not for me, great moments but some equally poor ones too.
Calvin-Phillips by a mile, a worthy replacement for Dinho if we can get him.
Imagine Pep coaching him.
Yep.You have watched sterling right?
Ashton was on the phone to BBC Sport the moment St Marcus fluffed that penalty. So what's missing from the BBC headline.......

Sancho, Jorginho & Saka miss penalties as Italy edge England at Wembley
Watch the decisive final penalties of the dramatic shootout as Italy beat England 3-2 on penalties to win the European Championship after a tense 120 minutes ended 1-1 at Wembley.www.bbc.co.uk
Exactly.TBF I thought Shaw and Maguire played well… As did Walker and Stones with Sterling the pick (quiet final.. more to do with tactics though). I actually think the Manchester clubs had the best performers with City obviously edging it. Rashford and Sancho fucked it though.

Bellingham
Grealish

That's the fucking side for the World Cup. Don't fuck with it
I feel so bad for Saka. Never taken a penalty in his professional career and is left to take that one.
Someone is at fault here and it's not Bukayo.
It wasn't enough to beat Denmark or those no marks Scotland either.Hoof ball was never going to be enough to beat this Italian side
Still my favorite City manager. I've only known 4 TBF.I agree how can any Blue not have a soft spot for Bobby Manc?
Yes after our first attack resulted in a goal, we just sat back and hoped for the best. The whole defence were excellent regardless of what team they play for. I even warmed to Rice and Phillips.
As numb nuts ain't going anywhere he needs to find a better balance for the other positions and also play only one DM sometimes. We created pretty much nothing in 2 hours of football.
And hes only 18Surely a wum post
Phillips is fucking awful. Was useless out there tonight and dogshit for all but one game. Bellingham is two, three times the player he is
Exactly. Bobby Manc is a City legend. Why shouldn't we be happy for him?I agree how can any Blue not have a soft spot for Bobby Manc?
I got 3-1 on a draw when they went 1 down, no way we were holding out for 88 minutes. Have a said Southgate is a risk averse **** resonantly ?Well Ukraine apart I thought we looked pretty crap/rank average from match 1. Not remotely surprised we lost, just a bit surprised it took Italy untill extra time to do it.
I'm just a bit gutted I didn't put a few Bob on my pre-tournament prediction of Italy bearing England in the final :-(
To be fair, Rashford and Sancho both have excellent penalty records. No need to put the blame on the players.
Missing penalties after playing 3 mins of football isn't letting anyone down.
Southgate was too hesitant making changes and the penalty subs (emulating OGS) was a daft thing to do.
I'd be interested to know if this tactic is statistically successful.
Southgates not going anywhere, were going to be fed the bullshit now of how he's that good by getting us to a final, extended contract on the table no doubt, its a shame because this England team has great potential under the right manager
