Aguero was a prospect who turned into a legend. We want a striker , but we will not spend 100 million on a player who would make his debut at 28.

That you would be happy spending 100 million + on a player making his debut at 28, Who has no speed , has tended to drop deep in the last year , rather than when he was at at his best, with injury concerns, could work out at 1 million a game plus wages, and you are serious.

100 million + for a 28 yr old with injury issues and no pace, and you would be all over it, fair enough , not your dough.

There is no 10 year game changer so you buy what is on the market and you buy someone who is going to keep you at the top. Kane is that man.

You are correct, not my dough. Kane will do his job for X years then the next latest and greatest will be on the market or who knows maybe its Torres or Delap.

Deluded. Maybe what Levy has is contagious.

I’d love to see a retrospective cost benefit analysis of the Mourinho appointment.

But 100 million spent on one 28yr old cannot be spent elsewhere.

Would love to know who has that brilliant laugh at the end. Also, Declan Rice looks like a fun bloke to be around. Watching that makes me think how awesome it must to be a professional footballer at that level.

I say stuck because they'll still be below the level they want to be at by some margin. They'll have a depreciating asset who doesn't want to be there and they still won't have the significant funds, they clearly need for player investment.
Just puzzles me why everyone thinks Levy holds all the aces in this negotiation. One more statement of discontent from Kane and I reckon he's gone and for a reasonablish fee

Again this was my point. <£100m is reasonable anything over it isn't the right deal for us. For other clubs like utd they would pay £150 as that's were their goals come from. With us we have 5/6 players capable of 10 goals or over from different areas of the pitch. We are more a unit than a team with 2 star players carrying the team. Foden, kdb, Jesus, sterling gundogan, mahrez, bernado can all score and assist 10 goals or more. Without rodri, dias, stones, etc chipping in, not many teams can boast that.

I actually thought Nuno was a good appointment, for the 10th call. I can see him doing well.
