Well here's half the squad having a great time which is a PG version for socials. A safe bet Jack is doing similar.
He was screwedWhat a post, you nailed it!
Haaland may well transfer this year though.Genuinely not arsed if we get him or not. Rather we try and sort something for Jao Felix, someone cheap but good like nunez, or just stick with gabby and torres for a year and wait on what should be our number one target...Haaland.
We wanted Van Persie, for the same reason we want Kane, age doesn’t matter when you’re as lethal as them. He also turns 28 in a few weeks, I know it sounds better quoting him as older. We didn’t win the European cup though, maybe that was the missing link? Maybe it got telling that teams that prepared for the false 9 faired very well against us in the end. It was a great tactic, should never be plan A though. We want a striker, Khaldoon said we want a striker, yet you know best.
Aguero was a prospect who turned into a legend. We want a striker , but we will not spend 100 million on a player who would make his debut at 28.
That you would be happy spending 100 million + on a player making his debut at 28, Who has no speed , has tended to drop deep in the last year , rather than when he was at at his best, with injury concerns, could work out at 1 million a game plus wages, and you are serious.

Yet you seem fluent in it. You want to replace our record goal scorer with a prospect. Lunacy.
You do realise the fee for for van Person was 24 million
Probably cost us 100m letting the rags have him and win the prem though. You do realise the fee for for van Person was 24 million

There is no 10 year game changer so you buy what is on the market and you buy someone who is going to keep you at the top. Kane is that man.You could spin for the "Sun"
Didn't make them long term challengers did it?
Bet they wish they had bought a 10 year game changer instead.
100 million + for a 28 yr old with injury issues and no pace, and you would be all over it, fair enough , not your dough.

You are correct, not my dough. Kane will do his job for X years then the next latest and greatest will be on the market or who knows maybe its Torres or Delap.

Scary thing is, I could genuinely see Levy going with that line, and keeping a straight face !Jokes on Kane though. Levy doesn't classify as a gentleman so that agreement is void.
Again this was my point. <£100m is reasonable anything over it isn't the right deal for us. For other clubs like utd they would pay £150 as that's were their goals come from. With us we have 5/6 players capable of 10 goals or over from different areas of the pitch. We are more a unit than a team with 2 star players carrying the team. Foden, kdb, Jesus, sterling gundogan, mahrez, bernado can all score and assist 10 goals or more. Without rodri, dias, stones, etc chipping in, not many teams can boast that.I really can't see an outcome that ends in anyone paying more than £100m for Kane never mind £150m. No one is going to nearly double the British transfer record for a 28 year old. If Levy insists on that sort of fee they'll be stuck with Kane.
I say stuck because they'll still be below the level they want to be at by some margin. They'll have a depreciating asset who doesn't want to be there and they still won't have the significant funds, they clearly need for player investment.
Just puzzles me why everyone thinks Levy holds all the aces in this negotiation. One more statement of discontent from Kane and I reckon he's gone and for a reasonablish fee
Asked a Spursy mate what he thought of the Nuno appointment. (Me thinking they’d not actually done a bad deal.) “Underwhelmed“, he replied, “we wanted a big name like Conti.”
Deluded. Maybe what Levy has is contagious.
I’d love to see a retrospective cost benefit analysis of the Mourinho appointment.
you wood say that, wood you knot?Such a plank
