Donegal actually....favourite place on earth ❤

What's even more bonkers and illogical is why do Orangemen want to parade down catholic dominated areas where they're not wanted. Imagine City celebrating the league title through the streets of Liverpool or Chelsea parading the champions league through the streets of Manchester... All because it's the queen's highway... Utter lunacy
For the next 300+ years as well....

Nolan is nothing more than a rabble rouser.
It seems that nearly everyday he tries to get a "story" to stoke up sectarian tensions that can sadly too often lead to violence.
I couldn't tell you the last time I listened to one of his broadcasts live, but from time to time I will have a segment pop up on my social media page, normally when a part of it deals with trade union related topics.
I have started fast forwarding these to the relevant discussion and avoid the other crap.
Personally I think Mr Nolan is a wonderful broadcaster and journalist. Of outstanding character and repute...and I am not merely saying that as I have heard...never saying it myself of course, that he is rather litigious!
I usually turn off anything that he is on and having met him I would be more than happy if i never have to meet him again.

And as for the annual events over here on the 11th & 12th...as a "blow in", still after 20yrs here I still cant get my head round it.
This was an absolute classic!

there does seem an ample supply of them over there
More than our fair share, it seems at times.
The good news is they don’t get anywhere near getting elected as, I suspect, that even their own families don’t vote for them, given their voting tallies.

Quite a few of us are loons, without being spiteful or hateful and we don’t generally run for election either.
We tend to offer our outlandish takes on life down the pub with our mates (ah I remember pubs) where we sort out all the ills of the world we live in.

Any thoughts on the recent controversy over President Higgins not attending the recent church service commemorating the centenary of NI. being set up.

Was he correct or mistaken in judgment? Or does it matter?
