Nothing technical about it. He is a free agent.

He is likely to end up back at Barcelona, sure. Once they sort their mess out. Or Tebas accepts that they tried.
 
Barcelona seem to have made little progress towards being in a position to register new players or towards resigning Messi and there seems little evidence that Tebas and la liga are prepared to make any concessions.

They have to move on eventually. He's 34. Besides, La Liga will be fine without Messi. It still has 2 of the biggest clubs in the world. They also have another team that just won the Europa League, so it's obvious they have some clubs in there that people will still watch. Barcelona and Real Madrid have lost big names before and they'll keep losing big names. They always replace them with big names. Barcelona will eventually sort their shit out, but that's going to take a few years.

I highly doubt that La Liga makes that much money just off Messi alone, so him leaving won't kill their league. La Liga may not make as much as the Premier League does, but they're still making a crap ton of money..... and they'll do fine without Messi.

Barca are going to take players to court because they refuse to basically tear up the contract they signed?
How fucked up is that?
Yet MCFC are the fucking villains of Europe!! Strange times we live in.

Yeah it claims that Laporta has given tbe players till the 15th August to accept a pay cut, or they'll go to court.

A long holiday for Messi then.

not only that though but they have to take a pay cut to save money just to pay someone millions a month anyway?!?! utter madness and no way barca could ever get away with that.
