thats the thing though is bernardo wants out and its not city pushing him out?
 
Why is everybody so desperate for a new signing? It’s like we need a shiny new toy for Christmas. We won the league last year in case everybody has forgotten. I understand that if you’re standing still you’re going backwards but do people really want the club to be taken to the cleaners??? I think Kane is a world class player but for this sort of money no chance. The same with Haaland, he’ll be available next year for half the price.

City don't have recent form for pushing their better players out of the door regardless of what some of the gutter press might have you believe.
I'm sure Pep said whilst he's manager Bernardo is going nowhere. If that's changed then I'd be more inclined to believe its because the player wants out rather than Pep has decided he no longer fits.

Our squad is great but there are areas of weakness and players we can improve on.Other teams are improving too,we need new players....it has nothing to do with shiny new toys.
Maybe the new additions can help lift the elusive CL trophy too......

yeah it does seem that bernardo wants to move to sunnier climates and i`m sure a deal is probably done with someone to make that happen if we get grealish?

It’s called improving, you aren’t standing still. You’re going backwards whilst others are probably improving.

It’s a no brainer if he’s available and his wage demands are realistic.

Give Haaland parity with KDB and then Sterling, Foden and every other key player will come knocking on the door for a pay rise.

For me, that’s the big difference between Kane and Haaland. Kane has the proven track record over many seasons. Whereas Haaland, whilst a top player, is still potential. He needs another season similar to this one before he can move from potential to genuine world class.

It’s just my opinion but paying over the odds for potential leads to the financial mess Barca are in. Having Kane and KDB on £400k a week is fine. They’re at their peak and on their last long-term contract.

Putting Haaland or Foden on that sort of money is asking for trouble.

Yeah that's somewhat fair but I'd say Haaland has already proven it and would give him a bonus heavy salary
 
Our club has high expectations; one of them is winning everything in one season, another is going for an unbeaten season, another is scoring over a hundred goals, another is gaining over a hundred points in the PL. We're slowly but surely breaking all records and setting standards. I have confidence in us. That is all.

I'd disagree Aguero has not played much at all the past 18 months and Kane is in his peak "physical" shape of his career and Bernie what a player but I wouldn't be gutted if we replaced him with Grealish.
