CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Fans of other clubs except the odd few of those obvious clubs don’t care at all.
So desperate these guys they will keep coming back to something from 2014 until the end of time.
Didn’t see anything new today

It will certainly be interesting to see who the Daily Mail send to our first home game and how they are greeted by the Colin Bell Stand casuals. I think @tolmie's hairdoo said previously that Whatsapp wanker Ian Herbert was hiding under his hoodie when some blues went looking for him previously…

The club will roll out the red carpet for them. The club's policy seems to be to be nice to them and they'll be nice to us eventually.

The last few pages of this thread have all been jokes about MBS ordering the murder of a journalist at a UAE embassy.

No shit the club are going to avoid doing anything that can be construed as anti-journalsim.

I am finding it is only those fanzines that were totally shown up at the UEFA /CAS ruling that care, or feel the need to be exonerated for their stupidity

DMG isn't in a difficult financial position. Lord Rothermere is reportedly preparing an 810mill bid to take the group private. That figure appears to be very much on the low side according to the financial press.

DMG might be a pile of shite but it is financially secure.
Thanks for that but perhaps part of their income streams may come from shall we say an advert on behalf of the G14 etc disguised as truth or even news?

Hey Nick!

Guess what? Yes, you’ve got us bang to rights on the basis of one email. But guess what else? That email is eight years old, but the Limitation Act says the PL can only challenge us for things that happened in the last six years!!!!!

So your email is worth diddly squat!!!

Doesn’t that make your piss boil??

Never mind! Better luck next time

:) :) :)
I get that 100% but why do City not pick the cnut up & the Mail & tell them you print 1 more piece of shit or slander the City name allover social media again & we will sue the fucking pants off them????

I hear it every home game before, after & during the season

Example

Grealish to City £100m record

Chelsea now join the hunt for £60m Greslish

Players go to UTD because history tells you to

Pep buys the league but City cheated there way through FFP

This happens every week

It's fucking time The CFG take these cnuts to task

Sorry if already covered, are these figures accurate @Prestwich_Blue View attachment 21951
I've no idea to be honest. Seem a bit high to me. As far as I'm aware there's only 4 AD companies who sponsor us currently. But even if they are accurate, they're fine under FFP.

CAS showed that we weren't disguising equity investment as sponsorship.

Here are the 10 year commercial figures he refers to:

cOM.jpg

His totals correspond from those figures which he will have simply downloaded from Swiss Ramble in the same way I have.

£billion 10 years
£2.133 - United
£1.733 - City
£1.283 - Liverpool
£1.190 - Chelsea
£0.925 - Arsenal
£0.768 - Spurs

So, his headline that City earned about £600mil more than the average of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea is accurate. Of course, he asks the provocative question how we achieve such a differential against the history clubs. It doesn't sound as sensational to say we've averaged £40mil pa more than, say, Liverpool. He doesn't mention that differential could have been lower if only Liverpool hadn't lost a number of commercial deals to City because we offered better terms. They leaked and moaned about that but then withdrew it because they looked like fools.

As for Abu Dhabi sponsors he's got figures follows:

2012/2013 - £118.75 mil
2015/2016 - £122 mil
2019/2020 - £140 mil

The 12/13 figure is about right from what was leaked and reported in different sources. I've seen different figures for 15/16 and I presume his is on the high side because it is higher than 30% of our total 15/16 revenue and would have led to an automatic investigation under a new UEFA rule introduced in 2015.
The 19/20 figure is just guesswork.

Wasn't there something too about how City break the match day income down in different ways to other clubs?
Would that affect the commercial turnover?

This is gone on for too long, it's a never ending assault.

These reporters are NOT doing this on their own backs, this goes far deeper , they have backers and I think we are all well aware who they are.

Our club is underestimating the damage to our image, this club should be a shining example to all clubs, about how to invest, build and prosper.

Look at the Spaniards Bara, Madrid, Italians Inter, Juve, shambolic overspending, an utter disgrace, yet they get off
easily.

Litigation makes people think, think about the consequences, as it stands we are letting them rip us a new one at will.
The fat toad from Spain will be part of all this, you can be certain of that.
