I am struggling to work out why he has (allegedly) contacted the police. What crime was committed?

He liked to portray himself as a kind of father figure to the players and he knew they wouldn't have the intelligence to see past the Ned Flanders act and reveal he was actually more like Josef Stalin.

It makes sense: from Beckscum to Shrek rag players have always been known for being incapable of independent thought.

That's actually really harsh - no chance Stalin would have claimed they were on the offensive during the Kompany 1-0 game at our gaff in 2012 after barely crossing the halfway line..............
