They were gifted 10-15 pts by the FA/Premier League/VAR last season to get them into the mix.
The same will apply this season.
So obviously playing the game the right way as we do and not playing for fucking penalties every week as been noticed by God above and will lead us to glory again.

Not just last Season either -without PGMOL/VARs major input during "project restart" they wouldn't even have made Top Four
 
End of the day they have gone out and got they have needed to be better this season and final get will run the title winners close whoever that will be . Can’t stand them but they have had an excellent transfer window .

Tbf to Danny Mills he is one of the ones calling it out, but is getting slagged off for it. No surprise there tho. The irony being that is exactly what the utd fans are doing by calling him the best just because utd signed him.

Ex united player Terry Gibson rolled out on Talkshite a few minutes ago to pour more scorn on Danny Mills's view of Varane. Demolished his own claim within seconds by claiming that Varane will be the best centre half EVER to play in the PL. Ha ha !

Well then he is obviously wrong. There has never been a centre half to ever play in the Premier league in it's whole existence.

No team has ever played 2-3-5 or Metodo (2–3–2–3).

The position he is referring to is centre back.

The media have (predictably) gone overboard with this apparent new signing of the rags. You can’t get away from his name no matter where you turn.

No other club gets as much wall-to-wall media coverage as those scummy bastards. I swear they are mentioned more times than bloody COVID 19.

Not going to lie, with Varane's signing I'm truly excited about our defense, I was talking with some friends and we were discussing if now we have the best defense in the league.

Of course the obvious candidates are City, Liverpool, Chelsea and us. Going name by name I think besides the keeper we are not behind in any department. Shaw is top of the league, Maguire and Varane are up there at top with anyone behind maybe VVD who we don't know how is going to come back after that injury and Dias.

Attacking wise I think Liverpool's defense is still the most exciting but defending wise I don't think I would swap for any other team not just in the premier league but in the world.

What are your thoughts?
