Probably before your time and it was a different age, but that was a brilliant Villa team and we all cheered them on. They were outplayed and rode their luck, scoring on a rare breakaway counter, but fair fucks to them. Less tribal times I suppose. We all cheered on Aberdeen and Dundee Utd as well, though we all wanted the cult to lose, even back then

When you factor in the sheer volume of unknowns (in the public eye) that we're shifting for 8, 10 and potentially 20 million we've already paid for grealish and replaced kuns wages with his. Grealish is a free hit essentially

I keep seeing references to this but I was there and didn't see much out of the ordinary?

No doubts it's true though, as Villa are the rags of the Midlands. Or at least like to think of themselves that way.

Like, obviously they're not at the same level, but just popping it in brackets like that so they all know, makes me giggle.
