The whole deal with Derby is as dodgy as the rest of their finances. They are alleged experts at dodging FFPR.

His wages are paid for by the bookies that sponsor them because the club can't afford it.

Rooney makes Ya Ya look like a communications expert. There are so many fantastic players, usually the instinctive ones, who will never be great managers. In my view David Silva will never make a manager even though he is one of the greatest players of all time. Being manager is a totally different skillset to being a player. I don't understand why clubs appoint people just because they were good players.

The club media promotion more than the actual progression of a club.

A sheepshagger telling me their fan base around the world has grown because of the **** managing them.

Rooney has turned Derby County into a laughing stock across the world. Perhaps their next appointment will be Gazza. Mind you Joey Barton is now looking for a job!

For a guy worth upwards of 500m , Mel Morris makes some strange decisions, playing too much Candy Crush must have rotted his brain.

Even worse is that they are keeping him on .........any owner would have kicked him into touch at the back end of last season ........ they way they celebrated after the Sheff Wednesday game was embarrassing....... like is said in a previos post was they got lucky very luck last season ....... that won’t happen again and if he does see the season out then they will be gracing league one next season

They can't afford to sack him but Derby deserve all they get by giving him a contract for 2 years without any experience on his CV other than the magical words "i played under Bacon Face" which seems to get many others favorable jobs
