Usually do coach or train to Wembley, but driving this time. Is it better to park at Stanmore or Watford for the tube?

See you at the prem Wembley 4 of us booked it weeks ago assuming the date would be 7th. Cheap digs cheap ticket plenty of beer money left over what’s not to like.£90 Train fare, Lunch at Spoons, Prem Inn at Wembley Overnight, Boxpark after the game, back on the Sunday.
Always go the Chariddy Shield games at Wembley (Eithad South), it's normally a great atmosphere and you get to meet City fans from all over the country who nornally can't get to go to a game. It attracts a lot of kids too who will wear the shirts and carry on the support as they get older in the outposts away from Manchester.
In normal times there is no way I'd spend this much, but after 18 months of lockdown, this is my equivalent of a summer holiday :)

Bbq and drinks there too. Quite a few fans going already according to the bloke on the phone.
Only 6 minute walk to the tube then metropolitan line straight to Wembley.
Last time we played them at Wembley. It doesn't happen that often so make the most of it Blues! Shame we don't still have those red and black shirts...
Just call or text James and let him know car, minibus, coach and how many coming. You can find his number in the thread about Wealdstone parking. Or PM and I will message you it.Do you have to book the parking?
ITV and BBC share the FA Cup/Charidee Shield TV coverage. How come this game is on ITV instead of BT who usually show the charity shield..
I half expected fans to be trolled with white shirts, sky blue shorts.Apparently so, with green shorts according to reports.
Likewise, although given our circumstances.....i fully expect a Leicester win. Can’t wait for this, just excited to get back to a game.
