Be good for him to play regularly again. Was relegated to backup far too early in his career.
I still think standing about 5mm away from a camera playing for England with the teams lining up in the tunnel at Euro 2016 on prime time telly at 3pm and swearing like a trooper did for him. He was representing his country, and his club, and made a prick of himself and embarrassed all of them and parents of fans of watching it. No need.Hart is a mystery, maybe one day it will come out what really went wrong with his career. How did he go from one of the best keepers in the world to struggling to find a club? Remember Richard Wright at Ipswich? A similar thing happened to him.
As would I. My point is though, shirley Celtic would be better paying 2 young up and coming keepers 7.5 each and see how they go and if one comes good pay him the full wage. Joe Hart is yesterday's player

More to keepers than saving shots these days, as Joe Hart himself will attestHow much in fees would those two keepers cost? If they are inexperienced, they would be better off loaning them to other clubs in the SPL, as they will have more shots to save.
£1 million fee for an experienced goalie and £15k a week for three years, is a fantastic deal.

Dont do strawman conversations sorrySweeper keeper is fashionable in Scotland is it?
Craig Gordon was on the brink of early retirement due to injury before we went up to Celtic. Revived his career and became ever present.
Similar scenario here.
They have just signed James McCarthy on a four deal despite him making seventeen Premier league appearances in the last three seasons. I'd say that was more of a risk.

Only if he plays every week. How much in fees would those two keepers cost? If they are inexperienced, they would be better off loaning them to other clubs in the SPL, as they will have more shots to save.

Even i could go in goal aged 58 for Celtics v Patrick / St Mirren / Dundee and keep a clean sheet....
8 cans of IPA a day and a couple of Smiths songs played over the tannoy....How much would you like a week? :)
Only if he plays every week.
Something Joe has not done for 5 seasons.

I am sure they would love Irish Blood English Heart booming out....@Magicpole what do you think of that?
@Mad Eyed Screamer Don’t push it by asking for them to play the miserable racist's solo stuff though.
Torino was the last club he played a full season. He played almost every game at Torino, came in for Burnley after injuries to the other keeps, played half the season and was dropped again for Heaton. Who they sold six months later.
He has had two and half seasons without regular football, but I don't pay much mind to Sean Dyche's opinion on Joe Hart after reading the ridiculous things Bamford claims he said to him.
And to be fair to Joe, he knew he wasn't going to be 1st choice at Spurs over Lloris (baring injuries) he probably just wanted more opportunities in cup fixtures. Something Boring Burnley can't really offer.
He doesn't have any recent issues with injuries, so he should be favourite to keep the number 1 spot. It wouldn't be good news for Joe, but even if he doesn't become first choice, but by him signing, he pushes on Barkas to a higher level and with more consistency, I think Celtic would have to consider it good business.
He is taking a big drop in wages to get regular football when he could have sat on the bench. I think it's refreshing that Joe has done that and good on him. Particularly as the player who displaced him at Burnley has gone back to the Rags as 3rd choice.
WOW that’s controversial, you just went for that didn’t you!!!Hope he does well enough to get a move to a decent club.
The point was I was replying to post number 300 by a different poster. So what was the point?
You dislike Joe Hart?
Swearing in the tunnel during an international five years ago. Bit sad, time to move on.
Torino was the last club he played a full season.
West Ham he was poor.Burnley decent start but then second choice for a season and a half.
Spurs second choice.
Folk seem to think because he is now playing in Scotland it will be okay for him to get back into form despite having an error strewn last 5 years.
Going to be a battle for Joe to get back to form.
I wish him well but it is no certainty to happen.
