Spurs (A) | Post-Match Thread

Not good enough. Too slow. Pre-season-esque.

Why is it whenever we visit this shitty, overrated, over-cramped stadium - the ref is an absolute fucking joke?

Taylor should never be allowed to ref City or United games. Or PL games at all tbh.

Don't think Ake was bad to be honest. Mendy, enough has already been said. Unbelievable that we are trying to work things out with make shifts LB's and Mendy with probably spending 230 million in this window. Obvious gaps in the squad.

Spurs will finish between 5th and 10th again, they are simply the Wolves now ... but they deserved to win today. Ferna and Cancelo were below par and it hurt. Nothing surprising elsewhere. KDB looked fantastic, Grealish was fine. shrug ... in Pep we trust

We're quite clearly short of match fitness and knew that before we started so not too worried but our fullbacks were both poor.

Weird tbh. Weird from the manager, players and not weird from the officials.

I just don’t get how we can be so submissive at times. Very frustrating tbh.

But early days with a shadow team so I’ll get over it pretty quickly. Contrary to the match day thread I thought Ake was ok

Poor game from both sides, not sure what Neville and Tiler are on about.
Was thinking the same thing... two City haters jizzing their panties over fuck all. They were allowed to waste time from 65 minutes onwards and barely any football got played in the measly 4mins they added on.

Spurs have a bit of possession and according to ratboy that means they deserved that goal. Should have been saved that. Eddie has some sort of mental block with Spurs, every season it feels like he has to drop a bollock against them in some way.
