Because I understand that what the club release to the press might not necessarily be the truth when they are trying to negotiate £100m+ deals.

I don't understand this way of thinking if anything Spurs would be quite justified in throwing the above at us. We want their player not the other way round. Levy has set a price its up to us whether we pay it we could be accused of messing Spurs around. I want Kane here and have done from the beginning so if anything I hope Levy doesn't draw a line and say you had your chance its too late now. If some of the rumoured offers we have made are true then i'm surprised he hasn't done it already.
