Can it all just go away now please? Kane isn’t worth this much hassle. Tell Levy to do one and let’s move on.
Can't see that. He's 28 now. A year later and the deal becomes unattractive for City because the player may have a limited amount of top flight football left. No one else is in for Kane, and yet somehow we're around the £130m mark which is already ridiculous. If at the start of the window you had told me we would be in for Kane and Grealish I would not have been surprised but I am surprised at the fees.We should have already walked away from this. Levy is being as awkward as he can and has broken his agreement with Kane. We should tell Kane we are walking but will be in for him next season if he still wants the move and sign that Vlahovic in the meantime. Will give us time to free up funds by selling those who want out of the club as well.
Leave Levy to deal with a unhappy and unmotivated Kane disrupting the dressing room all season and then pick him up cheaper next summer.
There were some Twitter links to AC Milan taking Bernardo on a 2 year loan deal worth £10-15m per season with an option to buy at the end of £40m. Probably total nonsense as per usual.
Harvest time is almost over .Every morning you wake up to Levy’s minions in the media spouting his narrative! If we veg Kane for less that £150m they should be called out for it!
@SuperSilva21 did suggest that the deal had stalled over money a while ago and that sale(s) may be necessary, although I note his last post yesterday seemed more upbeat that a deal could be struck.
Txiki likes this statement and say’s he has got his fingers crossed.I think there is a 50/50 chance this happens because I really cannot see Spurs turning down £130m for a player who is 28, and who has made it very clear he wants to leave.
£70M for Phillips? You need to stop sniffing the hovis palI wouldn’t be happy if we sold Kalvin Phillips for under £70m. Harry Kane is a far more proven player in the PL and is in the top 5 in the world for his position so to suggest he’s not worth £50m more doesn’t make sense to me.
You missed my point, it’s not 8 association trained. It’s 4 association trained and 4 club trained meaning if we have 7 association trained then 3 of those will take 3 of the 17 none HG squad places so we have to sell to buy!Adding Kane its 7 association and 1 space to make the 8 requirement.
Squad size - 22 (Foden doesnt count yet)
Non HG - 15
HG - 7 (Carson, Walker, Ake, Stones, Grealish, Sterling & Kane)
Spaces - 2 (one NG and one NOT)
Just for fun; maybe we should wait until they've bought replacements. Can it all just go away now please? Kane isn’t worth this much hassle. Tell Levy to do one and let’s move on.
Or have a youth association 3rd GK and not register CarsonYou missed my point, it’s not 8 association trained. It’s 4 association trained and 4 club trained meaning if we have 7 association trained then 3 of those will take 3 of the 17 none HG squad places so we have to sell to buy!
Just don’t check the thread mate and relax away from it, then it all goes away without City pulling out :-)Can it all just go away now please? Kane isn’t worth this much hassle. Tell Levy to do one and let’s move on.
He won't take a pay cut mateIf we don't buy kane I would love for kane to storm into levy office and tell him if you value me at 160 mil I want to be payed 350k a week to justify that price tag and completely mess up spurs wage structure
He’s as important to us as Jack Grealish was to Villa. Aren’t those the kind of figures reported for Rice?£70M for Phillips? You need to stop sniffing the hovis pal

Which West Ham is happy with, since they dont want to sell. Thats why they have set a price that high. And no one has gone near Rice,,,, not worth £100m.
A world in which the economy was locked down for over a year.In what world is Harry Kane worth little more than Harry Maguire?
I'd take him for thatHe’s as important to us as Jack Grealish was to Villa. Aren’t those the kind of figures reported for Rice?
"Spurs understandably don't want to sell"The problem with this transfer is that it was always going to be difficult to get Kane out of Spurs. Spurs understandably don't want to sell.
I think City fans should look at the big picture and not just follow what City are doing. We think City are preparing bids and offers based on inside information and reports from journalists and when you want something to happen you give extra weight to evidence that suggests a deal is advanced. It takes three parties to complete a transfer. Kane we can assume wants to move to City but in this case Spurs are very resistant to selling. City can talk about £130m bids all we like but if Levy is ignoring them, then no transfer is going to happen. We're just basically hoping that at the 11th hour Levy is going to change his stance because that is how he operates, a man who traditionally has liked to play the transfer market in the closing weeks.
I think there is a 50/50 chance this happens because I really cannot see Spurs turning down £130m for a player who is 28, and who has made it very clear he wants to leave. But should we trust Levy to act in the best interests of Spurs? Anyone who appoints Mourinho as coach, and who repeatedly plays roulette with the transfer window in its last week is a questionable operator imo. Spurs are struggling because of their managerial decisions and now it impacts on us.
