Cycling to the Etihad

Won't your second set of clothes just get wet standing in the pissing rain for 2 hours?

Then do you put the original wet ones back on for the return journey, not being funny, just interested lol

But it is disgraceful that they try to charge or do charge a fee for you to put your bag somewhere.

When did taking a bag into a ground become not allowed, do women have to check their handbags in?

Another alternative and one you have likely though of already would be the purchase of good quality waterproofs, take them off at your seat and stash them in a cheap fold up bag under your seat and put them back on for the return journey.

Oddly, ive never got soaked inside the ground and I normally ride home.

I asked the question regarding bags yesterday - anything bigger than A4 is not allowed (apparently) unless its a City store bag.

Waterproofs are a possible option but another expense I can do without as decent ones arent cheap.

On another point, I'd be more worried my bike wasn't there after the game tbh

Yes, good waterproofs are not cheap but £100 to store a bag would get you a top set that would see you through many seasons and be a saving in the long run, unless you find somewhere else to change.

The squash centre next to City Square will do for getting changed in the toilets.

You know they might even have lockers if you ask.

However, why not make an approach to the cycle centre! Could be a link up of some sorts.
