gotta agree with this. It’s too soon. We have lots of legends from our past who deserves statues. Bert Trautman for me deserves a statue right outside a stand for what he did and the context of when he did it. ( He has one hidden away at the minute)

You can only hope that it's like when it's new kit time, where the initial photos are always shit, but when the real deal is revealed, it's actually good.

On the face of it, right now, the statues are that Umbro Etihad kit laid out on the bed. Hopefully when they're revealed in full, they'll be the 2009 Umbro kit.

He’s not going to go to the trouble of interlocking hundreds and hundreds of small pieces to then hide it! The way they look on the leaked picture is exactly how they’ll look when unveiled. It’s the style he’s known for.

I’ll wait til I see the finished result but these are a little underwhelming so far

it seems this material is great for giant 50ft horse heads, but not for capturing facial details on a smaller scale

So many grounds have brilliant 'conventional' (struggling for the right word here) statues, West Brom, 'Boro, Everton etc.

Hope we've not been too clever and ended up with a dog's dinner.

As someone mentioned earlier, it's amazing that they turn out so bad when you have 3d printers that can get facial features spot on. Just hope we don't end up with our version of the Mick Hucknall statue.
