Dont really care much about the transfer/agent fees but if we pay him anything above what KDB earns then we will be setting a very bad precedent.

I hope we add a hell lot of performance based bonuses going forward with lower basic salary like executives at big companies.
Nope we pay him what we feel his value is, the future "best striker in the world" comes at a premium

Yes we do. In my book. All hypothetical of course but If that were to happen we would still need a 'true' striker, and a world class player is always good.

Jesus will have a year left on his deal, and will likely be sold next season, if he doesn't kick off this season and renew. There will be takres, his price will be affordable And decent return for the club.

Torres would be comfortable enough after a good season not to be inder threat, and Delap will be young enough to still keep developing.

Lets hope for a season like that and a recisit if this discussion next summer.
We need to be looking at renewing Jesus, Sterling is the one we should move if he won't sign the contract

Or sell with a buy back clause? If t meant getting Haaland almost everything is on the table
I wouldn't sell him. Send him there and they could work their magic on him as they've done with other amazing youth prospects. It's a win win for us. 150m euros and Liam on a season long loan. He comes back a better player

Correct, against average opposition making him look better, then some one from England with buy him for twice as much as he is worth, Dortmund are doing this more and more, buying promising English footballers knowing they will make huge profit when they sell back to English clubs
I think it’s a great model tbh. Good for them.

There has to be something in it for Dortmund though, that's what their entire business model is based on

Yeah they get 150m and a very good youth prospect for a season whilst they look for a more suitable replacement. I think it's a good idea and I can't see Liam saying no because Dortmund have an excellent reputation regarding youth development. It's better than going on loan in England.

I normally like your posts but that sypnosis is ridiculous, Silva, Mahrez and Jesus have all been a huge success. Transfer fee for Jesus was also very low considering he is Brazil number 9
I said Silba was a succes, but I dont think everyone would agree.
I also said Jesus was....but just not in the way intended ( ie as kuns replacement)
Mahrez decides opinion amongst fans...last season you could argue he was player of the season.....prior to that he was hit and miss at best. If he continues his form from last season instead of going disappearing in the night games like he did prior to that then I would agree he has been successful. I'd say that we need a fit and fighting Mahrez more than ever this season

I can definitely see Haaland in this team. It's made for him in footballing terms. French league is so damn dead and uninspiring. They'd need a few more rich guys buying clubs to make it truly exciting
