I have a feeling how this will go. We’ll be all over them, but fail to score in the first half as usual, then fall to two sucker punch goals, at least one from Vardy whose pace always causes us issues, and despite a typical late rally from us after a slow arsed stroll after missing 20 chances we’ll get one back but it won’t be enough.

Coupled with the media circus over some old rag player that will inevitably follow this will be a weekend to ignore all football and watch the cricket.

I hope my pessimism is seriously misplaced, but our failure to sign a striker has put such a huge downer on this season for me. Maybe the lads can show me I’m wrong, I really hope so.

Come on City!
You're joking, on the back of two 5-0 wins?

Are there any pubs in Manchester likely to show the match?

What's the chances of getting a spare.outside then ground? Not done that for a few years but I'm bang up for this and I'm fucking going anyway

No idea how this will turn out - I guess that we're without Ederson and Jesus - that's a big, big loss. And it's after an international break. Hope we win... but not overly confident. Hence voted for draw.

im confident with this one,Leicester have big problems with a lot of players missing, even without Ed & Jesus we should have enough in us

Has their been any official word on this yet?

Admittedly its Simon Stone but the last article I read said all the clubs were hopeful this will be resolved with all impacted SA players available to play notwithstanding injury and Covid status.

I read the same as you Mancity1. Don't know how this will turn out either way - and I've not seen an update on the official ruling on this matter.

Cheers I thought you might have had more detail than the mushrooms we are here down under.

Nothing would surprise me when it comes to decisions of this kind but I would assume that the FA have the final say on this and some common sense prevail.

I fail to understand how FIFA can rule a player ineligible for a domestic league game and that player be ineligible especially given if they were in a squad for a World Cup game or a friendly for their national team and given health orders had to isolate for a period of time once they returned to the country where they play their domestic games.

According to BR's presser this afternoon, Leicester have next to no one missing now, unfortunately....only Fofana and Justin as longer term injuries...everyone else has made a miraculous recovery in time to face us....typical :(

Any recommendations for pubs down there before the game? I've seen Counting House and The Salmon (run by a Blue) mentioned.

Always the fucking same. Wait til they play the scum, it’ll be the Leicester youth team for that one.

Tough one to call given the suspensions and lack of time after the international break but I’m going for a narrow 2-1 win for us.

Hopefully 30 mins each for foden and Kev so they’re ready to start v Leipzig
