I think the canal is the best walk and seems quicker too.
Look for, or ask someone, where the Dakota building is, near Piccadilly Station approach. The start of the Ashton canal is just opposite.
I taking a drum
Feeling "Cancelled"?Woke
What do you think doesn't he get? This isn't aimed at you specifically, but there are people talking about Pep the millionaire as if he has been rich all his life. He is the son of a bricklayer. His childhood neighborhood looks like a favela for fuck's sake. He is literally the rags to riches story of a working class man who worked hard and made it to the top. People giving him shit like he was born to a millionaire. "Oooh Pep doesn't get poverty, he doesn't know the hard life". What bollocks.
You see (me being ones of those that threw the multi millionaire tag at him), this is what I really don't get SB, given the working class roots of this club, it's fanbase, and Peps own upbringing etc, the two should be a match made in heaven, he should be more aware than any manager we've had in modern days of what that actually entails, yet, there seems to be a bit of an issue, and I'm not having it that 'Spanish working class' and 'English working class' cultural or otherwise are different, they're not, maybe, just maybe, Pep's forgotten his own roots, and forgotten what it's like to struggle financially ?Not you, and I said in my comment that it wasn't aimed at you specifically. But if you want me to find the thousands of comments calling him an out of touch millionaire, then I'm willing to waste my next 2 hours compiling the list.
Southampton is not a nothing game. Three points dropped in September are just as important as three points dropped in April. They all count. We have conceded 3 completely avoidable goals against Leipzig, showing signs of mental frailty in moments.
A nothing game against Southampton and the stadium will be absolutely bouncing now. The famous 12th man.
We're playing Chelsea, PSG and Liverpool next. Those 3 games will show us the mentality of the team this season, if the players are psychologically and mentally up for it.
Connects the dots and you tell me why he said what he said.
Jesus swept...Southampton is not a nothing game. Three points dropped in September are just as important as three points dropped in April. They all count.
There are no dots to connect. He said what he said because he's a fucking idiot and the entirely predictable backlash is an unhelpful distraction.

It's not the soldier's fault if they're sent to an illegal war.One is legal one is not, glad you get it.
He knows what he was doing ,he had a bit of a slapped arse mood during the game .As said, the guy is not stupid and if there is any truth about language issues, he needs to have someone by his side calling the shots and protecting him (Simon Heggie)
@GortonBlue62 is absolutely right.
For someone who reviews and plans games to the nth degree, he seems to have serious problems putting his brain into gear before he opens his mouth.
Stupid is as stupid does, and what he said was stupid. He should shut up and just do the football bit.
Well do you think £20/£12.50 tickets were too expensive on Wednesday or not? When people say "tickets were too expensive" is that an excuse or not?You get bored of "excuses"? I don't think people should be obliged to excuse themselves to you for not attending a football match, ffs. The same goes for Pep.
Madrid and Barcelona still have covid restrictions.Just had a quick look at all the attendances for game week 1 in the champions league ...
1) Liverpool..57,445
2) City...45,000
3) Athletico Madrid ...40.098
4) Barcelona...39,783
5) Chelsea...39,252
So for all the talk about empty seats we actually had the second highest attendance in all Europe , only topped by Liverpool who were playing AC Milan, a far bigger draw than RB Leipzig..
(Admitedly the BBC reported 38,000 , but others reported 45,000 and it looked more like 45,000 to me , even so the 38,000 would have still had us 5th , with virtually no away fans)
Yeah good point. He knows what he was doing ,he had a bit of a slapped arse mood during the game .
He probably gave the team a bollocking in the dressing room after the game ,then comes out to do his interview & decided to make a point to the fans to, nicely has possible .
It's really that simple. Managers have done this for decades, his job is to win us football games, atmospheres help, I guarantee it'll be buzzing on Saturday.Whatever you views on Peps comments. I think he will get what he wants, and that's a much better atmosphere on Saturday.
Jesus wept, not sure he ever worked as a cleaner.Jesus swept...
