Extremely poor today, credit where it's due, Southampton excellent.

Saints were very impressive. Looked very comfortable against a poor city side. Our ball short passing game was atrocious. Still it’s a point gained considering the performance and only one team really deserved the win. On a side note Sterling had his worst game yet and that’s saying something.

The passing in our half from Dias, Ake, Gundogan, Fernandinho, Cancelo was just so shit, got caught umpteen times with interceptions. we do that Anfield it will be embarassing.

No central striker signed this summer is already coming round to bite us on the arse. A couple of our so called forwards couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards.

More like 1 yard. Woeful. When they do there’s a teammate trying to nick it from them.

Ake was probably our best player today, cleaning up the mess from the horrible midfield. So please, cut him some slack at least.

the other elephant int eh room is how exposed our fullbacks are at present and the huge gaps between them and the centre halves.....Leiipzig exploited it....and Southampton tried to as well......

The fullbacks arent playing well BUT the midfielders in front of them (esp the wide ones) rent doing their work.....this is why Pep bollocked Grealish and Mahrez vs Leipzig but the message doesnt seem to have got through

Physically & tactically much better than us. Plenty of hard games ahead & no striker will cost us in games like this.

The changes he did make accomplished little. All fans tend to want managers to make subs sooner but today it seemed like we had little in the tank regardless of who was out there

Not sure how having a recognised striker would have helped today, unless he was going to play in midfield and knows how to pass the ball that is.
