I’m guessing at a draw. Would’ve gone for a win but there’ll be some tired legs after today and I think recovery needs will take sway over high intensity training pitch preparations, which could leave us shy of our best.

good thing we have been doing great so far in group stages. We should be fine if Pep gives key players rest for this match.

I don't have much hope for this match because we ran a lot today. Kevin, foden, grealish, jesus looked so tired. Don't know if they would recover in time.

agreed, we made a very big statement today at the bridge and the same at Anfield will see us top, its not the end of the world if we draw or even lose this one, we will most certainly qualify 2nd place if not 1st,its going to be tough at Liverpool if we play the above in this, this is were peps quality will come in,i certainly wouldnt know what to do

I think the team selection could depend on the liverpool result today
If Liverpool get a win this weekend, then their match will be major priority.

Totally agree. Not worried about this game. We need to rest key players and hope they are ready for Liverpool

Not arsed really, it’s a free hit. Bound to rotate heavily as scousers next week is a more important fixture than this one. All the bench guys will get a game and he will see who recovers well after today’s exertions.
Also this game won’t be played at anything like the intensity as next Sunday imho & so won’t need same fitness levels as our two PL games.

I'd go for a draw and rotate some players for the Liverpool game

Ederson
Walker
Dias
Ake
Cancelo
Ferna
Foden
Mahrez
Ferran
Sterling
Grealish

It's a free hit, beat Leipzig and Brugge and the games v PSG barely matter (outside of a tougher last 16 draw). Last 16 draw will still be easier than PSG (unless it's Bayern).

Obviously go to win it but Liverpool is more important.

Carabao Cup team! ;-)

Here’s hoping the lads get a nice warm down, some first class massage and recovery nutrition tonight and tomorrow, and a nice relaxing (short) travel day on Monday, with a walkthrough of the PSG tactics.

Light session on Tuesday morning to stretch the legs and figure out the niggles, good lunch, afternoon nap, do the business (bring home at least 1 point) and rest up for the Dippers.

F*ck it! Same team. Or give Mahrez and Sterling a go. But keep the back 4 as it is.

I want to see pretty much the same team against Liverpool as we started today. With that in mind, happy to rest a few players in midweek and just see what happens.

Ederson
Walker
Stones
Laporte
Cancelo (Zinchenko if fit)
Rodri
Gundogan
De Bruyne
Mahrez
Torres
Foden

Pep will go as strong as ever here, no way he'll want to toss this one away with a weakened side. Ederson, Walker, Cancelo, Dias, Stones, Fernandinho, Mahrez, De Bruyne, Foden, Sterling, Torres
