Always makes me smile Asst. VAR what does that mean, making a brew and holding the bottle while the VAR viewer has a piss?

Said at the start of the season if we're within 4/5 points of the top of the table by this next International break the title will be ours. That's with 2 games to go, dips & Burnley 5-0 to come looking very likely no matter what happens on Sunday. We'll have got through over half of our hardest (on paper) away games out of the way with an unprepared squad at season's start.

On this game, take our chances and not get screwed over by hairy arms/VAR we'll at the very least get a point and probably win.

This has replaced our trip to OT as the least looked forward to game. In fact i am in two minds to not watch on the telly as it will be the usual script, crowd refereeing the game, lots of histreee and rough justice, plus we are always guaranteed to aid and abet with a self inflicted fuck up. Then we have no game for two weeks !

Unfortunately I think it’ll be one of those games where we miss too many chances, fade then heads drop after they score with their first decent chance.

Obviously we’ll get nothing from the officials or var. The crowd will squeal for a foul every time one of our players makes a tackle and despite having more possession and chances we’ll lose by one goal. Already got money on a defeat to soften the blow.

Forget the PSG group game, this week's Chelsea and Liverpool games are the real markers for the rest of 21/22.

Pep pulled out a masterclass at Stamford Bridge, and I expect him to do the same at Anfield against Liverpool and (no doubt) the match officials.

A draw would be a good result, a win would be the icing on the cake.

KDB on the bench, Foden, Jesus and Torres to start

Would definitely take a draw in this. Coming out of Chelsea and Liverpool away with 4 points is waaaaaay above expectations.
Seriously, Way above expectations?

This isn't Manchester City 2002! This is Manchester City 5 time Premier League winners in the last 10 years and current Champions of England.

We can go to Anfield and win on Sunday no doubt about it. We are the team to beat which was proven last Saturday morning by dismantling the Champions of Europe in their own back yard.

everything about liverpool away is ? well we know from the drive in to the game will be full on and drive back out even worst. they hate us we hate them game on

I always love those runs Torres makes behind the line. Hope he starts.

Fair enough if you were sat in front of the TV last Friday night thinking that 6 points from Stamford Bridge and Anfield wouldn't be above expectations for the next 9 days.

Not worried about anything they have, more so the referee.
Foden to play the false 9 and overload arnold, he can't defend and that's where we'll run riot.
Scouse vermin

Guaranteed Grealish will replace Sterling as the dipper scum boo boy. It's going to be a noisy and fierce atmosphere especially after their win yesterday but we have the players to quell it with our passing game. Big game for big players, I fancy us in this one 2-1 City but hell if i know who will score them.
