Exactly, and after spunking the money they have in the summer window both on fees and wages they won't be in a position to back him with what he would want.

I just hope that they fall away to the point where Pogba decides he won't sign with them again and walks away on a free again.

There will be plenty after him on a free and I suspect that PSG and Juve would be heading the queue, if he does go then they will have to spend big on a replacement as their midfield is already the weakest part of their squad, hopefully that would put them out of the running for Haaland.

Plenty of clubs can offer big wages if he's a free transfer, or they can pay him average top wages (if that makes sense) eg £250k per week, but chuck a £20m+ signing on fee at him
