This is an embarrassing low point for MCFC women. We've become the new Bristol City women......Rank awful.

The reason Taylor is a rubbish manager is because he relies so much on our fullbacks to set up our play - missing Lucy big time and because Stokes has regressed into a very negative player he has not the ability to go to another plan. They've had plenty of time to work on something else yet today is another game where it is so slow and the quality of forward passes is so bad. Losing a game and getting the ball over the half way line to constantly pass back to the centre backs shows a lack of confidence and a clear lack of a plan. Taylor must go, this is a terrible loss (unless something amazing happens). Anyway onto more important matters...

I’ve been there twice this season with my 2 lads, neither me nor they complained about the stadium or the weather. Taylor’s tactics though…..

That 2nd West Ham goal sums things up perfectly. Made a total hash of this. Can't really blame the injuries as every one of our players (bar Park) is a full international and this team should be beating the likes of West Ham with their eyes closed. Just don't seem to be up for it at all.

Players heads have obviously gone as they did not even make to CL proper. Club needs to get rid of Taylor, no choice here.

Absolute shite.....again. Relegation battle this season. Demi Stokes sums up just how much this squad have deteriorated. Not a single City player came out of that shambles with any credit. Our worst result ever??

Well good for you , but I still stand by what I say !
Nice looking stadium maybe great in Southern Spain, but not really in the North West of England. Give me any None League cowshed any day !
Hyde's Ewen Fields , watched Reserves and a odd women game ,was a lot better then watching at the CFA stadium

Oh dear. That was on a par with the Spurs game. Women's team is really going backwards. The error at the end put a cap on the whole shambolic afternoon. We are at a point where the season can be pretty much written off in early October, cant see them doing well in the cup TBH.

How long before someone at City has the gumption to sack Taylor and all his team? This season has gone with just four games played. Problem is who, with the right experience and management quality will come to City at this time in the season? Such a pity as the women’s team have built up a fine reputation for attractive football over a number of years only to loose it all with this clown.

Very disappointing. Forcing Gemma Bonner out of the Club has been shown to be a big clanger. We have so many corners and nobody to attack them.

Our Team seems to put England internationals first and City games play a distant second fiddle. Maybe that’s fair enough but it doesn’t help.

I wish Gareth could turn it around but this is a big low. We’ve got plenty of injuries but we should still be winning today. I’m not sure why we didn’t try to re-sign Izzy Christiansen or Nikita when they came back to the WSL. We had a more attacking style of play with them in the side. Maybe it’s an obsession with the Champ League they has backfired??

Whoever it is, I doubt the club can keep it “in house” like they tried with Taylor. Need someone who has experience within the womens game.

20 shots to 9 but only 7 on target so usual finishing resulting in 0 goals from 20 attempts with West Ham having 9, 5 on target, 2 goals.
