After yesterday the world has pretty much spoken that it was a sending off for Milner.

It was an error or whatever you want to call it. It certainly wasn’t a 50/50 or even 80/20 decision that went against us.

So when was the last time we truly got away with one??

Depending on your perspective, arguably against PSG, or Southampton a couple of weeks ago.

Agree with the Southampton one. Looking down on the challenge from SS3, I was absolutely convinced it was a penalty.

I disagree I think Southampton we where fortunate but not a huge error, just surprised VAR considered it enough to overrule the penalty.

It was never a sending off on the double jeopardy rule.

The one I have thought was Bellingham’s goal at the Etihad last season. That was a big error, especially blowing as to not let VAR have a say.

Agreed. Easy to forget the moments like this because it doesn't cost us a game. It's almost like it's swings and roundabouts and not a full blown conspiracy as some would believe.

Wrong question. Refs can make errors. On Sunday we had a series of decisions all favouring Liverpool....not isolated individual single errors.

Pep was right to lose it. If it was Klopp, Fergsuson or Mourinho they'd have all exploded.

How many times does this happen to City at Anfield? Why does the media never ever question this? Every fan outside of man Utd and Liverpool know that this is what you expect at Anfield and OT

Agree with this. I also thought it was a penalty but definitely no red card. But I also think we were quite unlucky that the injury time goal was disallowed as it looked to me like Foden put the ball in the net, not Sterling. So I don't feel overall that we were lucky in that game.

Some scousers are citing the Kompany challenge in the Jan-2019 Etihad game. But conveniently forgetting the even more blatant hack by Matip(?) on Aguero which preceded it. So that at minimum evened out within the same game.

Then there was the Sterling penalty award when he clearly tripped (and didn't appeal) but we won that game in a canter anyway.

I actually can't remember us getting a clearly beneficial decision in a close match. But I can reel off close to a dozen where we have got shafted. Am I totally biased or are we routinely and deliberately getting fucked?

Bellingham is a good shout.

Newcastle had a good goal disallowed against us early in a game about 8 years ago that we went on to win. Joe complaining his view was blocked or some such nonsense.

I guess Balotelli v Spurs when he went on to score the winner.

Was it Watford who were done by a fairly dubious goal at our place and then Raz went and got a hattrick?

I guess Liverpool would argue the Sterling offside in 13/14 as well.

So there's a few, but nowhere near as many as we get screwed over in ourselves.

The one I have thought was the 17 year old Bellingham’s goal at the Etihad last season. That was a big error, especially blowing as to not let VAR have a say.

Fixed for you.

And next time, show some respect, FFS.
