Because he's 21 and building his career. It is an 'advantage' to bring players through from a financial perspective but he will be on 500k a week at the end of the new contract I bet.

It's a tough call. Personally, I would rather young players develop their salary but Foden is a unique case though also symbolic for future generations of players.
