Premier League Games 16/17/18 October

That was a rag like win for Chelsea, got absolutely batterred but the goalie saved them and the refs were on their side, Brentford should've had a pen and 4 minutes added on was a joke.
 
Defense wins you leagues, 3 goals conceded in 8 games for Chelsea, same as us.

They clearly have some luck too, but anybody saying it's only Liverpool as our rivals need to realize that playing defensively can win you the league as well.

That's how to break up the Brentford pressure, hit the deck and take the sting out the game.
Take note other teams but fuck me Brentford are like a breath or fresh air, they haven't come to tread water, they've come to fuck things up.
 
Chelsea will fall short over a season. They are well organised but aren’t that good. Can see them loosing a fair amount of points in the dying embers of games, they are getting away with it for now but I don’t think they will be good enough to get past 85/86 points barrier and imo that won’t be enough.

And I think that points tally could be flattering them. Could easy be 79/80/81.

I generally don’t think they have enough to keep pace with either us or dippers at full flow. They look steady but will need both us and the dippers to not be anywhere near full tilt all season.

They just don’t look like a team that could put a run of 10-15 wins on the bounce.

Third for me.

Not watched it but sounds like Brentford were unlucky. If that's the case, you have to say that's the kind of result that league winners get. If they were shit and still won you have to respect that, the league is often won and lost based on who can be the most consistent and who can grind out results when it's not happening.

In the past few seasons its been us, but Chelsea are in my eyes the best equipped side to beat the bottom 14 sides, they just have all the tools needed, I don't understand why people don't expect Chelsea to be a serious threat.
