No, I think if the defender touches the ball having intentionally tried to play it, that plays the attacker onside (witness France's winner last weekend). If the ball flicks off a defender who hasn't tried to play it, then the attacker is offside.that’s always been my opinion but now they are saying if the defenders attempts the ball, this decision is right but the other end is bull shit.
