What's the explanation for not giving the clear offside in the build up to the Brighton pen? Presumably a different phase of play? But I did not notice a change in phase?

Sky are gutted we ruined the party.

We were brilliant 1st half, blew them away. Could have had 5 or 6 in 1st half.
2nd half we were disjointed. Maybe the intensity of midweek caught up. Nonetheless, we finished it off well.
Robbed of the offside leading up to their penalty award. Stupid by Eddy to do that.
Brighton have got Dippers next, so they can standby for another bumming.

Bernardo was superb.

World class first half then took foot right off the gas. Stupid decision by Eddie for the penalty but a great three points in what looked a tricky away game.

First half we were sublime, brilliant quick incisive passing with movement to match. When City play like this we are just a joy to watch, tailed off in the second half and Brighton upped their game, but at the end of the day very satisfying performance and result.

VAR doing us again with a penalty with an offside in the build up, Not even close he's clearly off.
Anyway top 3 points! Fabulous displays from Foden and Bernardo in particular, Gabby was brilliant down that right hand side his work rate is incredible.

Well it never seemed to be in the equation. There was nothing to suggest that there was a potential offside under review, and that is one of the 1st things they are supposed to check. At best it is poor officiating, at worse it is plain cheating.

At the moment Brighton are a very good team so don't let any media make it look like they were shit and that's why we won. That first 45 minutes, we made them look shit, we were so good.

Top away performance. Coasting and dropped off a bit but who cares? Game never in doubt and a really good game from all of the team. Love it when we beat a team with that twat Lallana in it, he spent most of the match moaning - he's a has been having to watch Phil and others reach levels he could never dream of. Ederson was silly, I think it is not wise to leave it to VAR. When there is no danger don't make a challenge. Tough place to win .
