We're overdue a league win against them. Even though our recent record against them isn't great, we tend to win when it really matters and we've only lost one of the last six at Old Trafford. Think Gundogan should start this one, although not sure who I'd drop for him. De Bruyne is badly out of sorts but you'd always start him in the biggest games.
Grealish. I'd like to see Foden on the left running at the Scum defence as he did at Anfield

Not optimistic.

And with good reason to be fair.

Just said on the Palace post match thread.

I feel like derbies under Pep have become a game where we gift the Rags 3 points.

Final Whistle we get to see Pep chasing Noddy down the touchline trying to dry hump him.

Weird team selections, and with them tactics, to make the Rags look like peak 70s Brazil.

Be nice if we picked a team to play to out strengths this weekend, and turn up.

Bobby Manc should be brought back for derbies :-)
Agree with this. Pep please just play our best side and no resting Foden, Silva etc!

sad to say, this is my thoughts exactly, for all Peps exceptional abilities as manager, far too many reasons that dross from trafford and their garden gnome manager have beaten us, it’s frankly unacceptable, and i’d love to have Mancini flown in to manage us in these Derby’s, it drives me mad because they are garbage & if we play to the best of our abilities and pep doesn’t overthink things we should brush them aside with ease, c’mon Pep lad sort it out saturday ffs!

Should actually be an easy game this one , use our best 11 , keep Cavani and Ronaldo isolated up front like we did Lukaku and Wener , put massive pressure on their mistake-prone defense and you just know they're going to fk up like they did in almost every game they played this season.
Key will be our players not having a day off , the way we kept Chelsea (a better team than Manure) from having shots on target should not be impossible to do against a team with a midtable midfield.

thought Cancelo was shit yesterday and tbh apart from a few games last season he doesn’t impress me as a left back. Zinchenko gives the team more balance. Whoever plays we need to stuff them fuckers good and proper.

We'll do what we do best. We'll control the game, we'll dominate possession. They'll get restless and leave themselves open, we'll score a couple before half time and see the game out. Be nice if Ronaldo loses his shit and gets sent off but we can't have everything! CTID

Long overdue a result and performance against this scum , watched part of spuds v Rags game and the paperboys teams selection stank the place out , "the united way" starting with seven defensive players , what a f*cking joke
Absolutely no chance they will consider playing an open game , it will like playing a third tier side scrapping for every ball and hoping for ther geriatric forwards to nick a goal and then defend for their lives
Emabrrassing the amount of money they have spent on their squad and their only chance of success is to play like a George Graham team , they could nick the Goons song "1-0 to the Swampdwellers".

Ederson
walker Stones Dias Zinchenko
Rodri
Bernardo Gundogan/KDB
Jesus Sterling Foden

the big question is KDB or Gundogan for me....I genuinely dont know which one....At the moment KDB looks no where near ready to play and is clearly struggling...However Gundogan has hardly played at all.

Sterling - well he pushes their wide players further back than Grealish...is better in the tight spaces than Grealish and most importantly we can play foden where he is at his most dangerous. Jesus plays on the right as again it pushes their wide players back

them going 3 at the back vs spurs is what they will do against us...it jams the midfield, gives them huge defensive solidity and will stop our possession game in the final third and allow their front 2/3 to hit on the break with lots of safety behind them.....

Think they will win unfotunately...even when we have played well in the past few seasons OGS has got one over on Pep and the last few games we have been poor and our best player is woefully out of form....plus we usually need abut 20 chances to score and they usually only need one.
