Past City Players Not Everyone Rated, But You Miss Now

Clive Wilson. Absolutely loved him. Sign of previous times when we had to let him go. He may not have had the bad press others in this thread got, but criminally underpraised.

And an inferior player by far, but someone who - erm, knew where the goal was - Jim Melrose.
Clive Wilson was a really stylish player - arguably wasted at left-back.

Jim Melrose was largely awkward & bobbins, but he'd probably still get 25 goals playing as a centre-forward in our current team.

I don't know how highly he was regarded by the fans in general but I'll always have a soft spot for Kevin Horlock.
Still one of my favourites and he always seemed universally popular amongst our support. I'm sure there'll be a FIFA playing fan-boy along in a minute to tell us he was shite though.

Richard Edgehill...... He got a rough ride from most on here and he was blue through and through!
I met him a couple of years ago, what a really nice guy, and as you say a complete Blue, was great to see him score his pen at Wembley v Gillingham, I thought he was a decent player and at the time (maybe because we were shite) some fans seemed to constantly blame him - but that's been covered on another thread :)
