Guess Pep wants more help for Cancelo on the left, which Phil and Gundy are more capable of providing than Jack. United know Cancelo is a very attacking-minded FB and will try to exploit that zone by Greenwood and Fernandes.

On paper at least, good move by Pep. If we need creativity in the 2nd half, we may rely on Grealish and Mahrez to provide some spark.

Surprised Mahrez not starting, presumably Pep wants a bit more cover on the right.

Jesus has been excellent this season. We need his work rate and reliability defensively from everyone today and Mahrez hasn’t got that in his footballing personality in nearly enough abundance.

it’s an excellent line up. Kev out of form playing up top is better because if he’s still not at it he won’t be so much of a hindrance. And when he’s further up the field he is closer to goal and regardless of his form he’s still a good finisher.
