Pep tried to sign Fred and Maguire - chances are they’d be doing well for city if we’d got them because of our coaching compared to what United have got. I’d wager Pogba would be one of the world’s best midfielders if Pep could coach him for 3-4 seasons.

The United squad is incredibly talented; but they make everyone shitter after signing them.

Zaha, Di Maria, Depay, Kagawa, Pogba, Sancho, Martial, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, Damian, Dalot, James, Fred, Sanchez, Bailly.

All signed for decent money or young and promising, and none were successes. some completely stunk the place up and left - and notably some have done very well again after leaving

I can only think of Fernandes doing well.

I actually LOVE IT!

Whenever I have traveled the world, when I mention the word “Manchester” the response is nearly always “United.”

I think branding us as Man City is all about the “City” part, because if we get to the point where we are simply “City,” then we have made it.

I think trying to make every CFG club a “City” furthers the C part of CFG even further.

But, as a Manc, and with them NOT being from Manchester, I understand how it could get under one’s skin.

See more and more City shirts on my travels, and will look forward to seeing even more when international flying opens up again!

Sky Blue = City…that’s the goal!

I think it must be a personal thing, as I've supported City almost as long, and throughout that time, if someone asked me who I support, I've usually said "Man City".

"City" doesn't necessarily work (unless you're in Manchester at the time) as there are other Citys. (Although yes, it has started to work in recent years now that we are *the* City).
"Manchester City" is great but it's also a mouthful.

The club itself have always been happy to use Man City, so far as I remember.

I could be wrong about this, but didn’t their squad cost a similar amount? You can spend double or triple that number but without the right coaching and strategy you will not get to level of us. Oh and that Tyler needs to sling his hook, he is so pass it, so stuck in the past he needs sticking in an old person’s home.

Tyler’s been washed up for the best part of a decade now. Sky would do well to bring in Peter Drury, he’s a verbal artist with no discernible bias.

Good - were we watching the same match? Every time a City player blew on a United player, it was a foul. Yet they could kick us with impunity and nothing. That penalty - jeez, if you ever wanted evidence of sheer corruption. It wouldnt surprise me if Oliver received strict instructions beforehand to keep the score respectable. There is no other possible explanation for the no-pen decision and Stockley's refusal to over-turn it.
