(as in PSG, Juventus, Leeds, Watford - the latter to cover shirt sponsorship, paid in bit currency - and so on and so on?)

That’s the biggest myth in football and needs fucking calling out by someone.
They made ‘their money’ by floating on the stock exchange, getting investors in which allowed them to then spend more than anyone else, meaning they won things, which guaranteed prize money, tv money and more revenue through sponsorship deals, they then spent this money which is exactly the same thing we did. The only difference was we had to do it in a smaller time frame because these cunts changed the rules to try and fucking stop us.

Thanks for the replies, I know where you all mean now. There was a crackin clothes shop on that street called Manolo, used to buy gear from there in the late 70`s.

There was a great clothes shop called Zico opposite Brannigans. Between the two of them they used to take most of my early pay packets!
